Biogas plants are effective and environmentally friendly management of kitchen waste and avail bio gas to reduce the use of LPG. Portable bio gas plants are low-cost waste management unit. Add kitchen wastes in the plant regularly.  The HHs will get bio gas at least 1.5 hr/ day. Bio gas slurry is good organic manure. Devaki, a 55 year’s old tribal women got 1 m3 biogas plant from NABARD’s Springshed project on 4 months back. From then on they are maintaining the biogas plant and filling kitchen waste every day and also effectively managing wastes which used to be thrown away in the past. The main impact of the biogas plant are, they are able to save LPG gas for more than three months and after getting this biogas plant their surroundings are free of waste. Bio gas slurry is applying to vegetable garden. These both are the main impact of the biogas plant.
