Vineetha completed her six years in family development programme and it made a drastic change in her life. Vineetha is a widow and after the death of her husband she started going for daily wage work. With the SAFPI contribution Vineetha started goat rearing. Earlier they had only 2 goats, now the goat rearing unit got expanded and they are having 9 goats. The income generated from these endeavors has significantly bolstered her family’s financial stability and well-being. In goat rearing, Vineetha has developed valuable skills such as animal husbandry, including feeding, breeding, and health management. Moreover, her involvement in tailoring has equipped her with proficiency in garment making, stitching, and design. They also done house maintenance with their savings and income generated through goat rearing and tailoring centre. Vineetha and her family are leading a happy life now and they are very much grateful towards Family Development Programme.
